HTP ENERGY’S Logistics Services Department is responsible for a broad array of functions and services. The relationships with railroad personnel, tank car companies, common carriers, barge operators, and transload facilities across the US and Canada allow the logistics group to negotiate competitive freight options from a variety of sources. The multitude of distribution channels allows HTP ENERGY to provide more options for end users, reducing their costs, and giving HTP ENERGY a competitive advantage.

Rail Transport

HTP ENERGY’S extensive rail car fleet is a growing part of our transportation network. Prepared to deliver directly to customer plant sites or into HTP ENERGY’S inventory network, this rolling stock is supported by the Logistics Department.

HTP ENERGY’S transloading facilities offer non-rail equipped customers and vendors the cost-saving advantages of rail transportation. With availability of a nearby rail siding, HTP ENERGY can provide a short-term or long-term handling facility where products can be safely moved between rail cars and trucks.

Trucking & Delivery

Many of our customers rely on us exclusively to handle trucking logistics for fuel delivery. HTP ENERGY has an expansive network of safe and reliable common carrier trucking partners to deliver fuel to our customer’s locations.

Pipeline

HTP ENERGY is a shipper on multiple major pipeline systems throughout the US and Canada transporting commodities such as gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, natural gasoline, and crude oil. This capability provides HTP ENERGY customers with reliable supply, competitive pricing, and flexibility.

Barge

HTP ENERGY’S knowledge of the inland waterway system and US Gulf Coast allows us the ability to capitalize on barging opportunities.
